ABOUT
Gail Latimer and Roger Brown started home dog boarding and day care service 6 years ago as an alternative to dog kennelling. They have boarded and fostered many different breeds from miniature Yorkies to a Dogue de Bordeaux.
They have owned various dogs over the past 25 years. Roger’s first dogs were Chow Chows and Gail started with an Old English Sheep dog and then 2 Spinonis (Italian gundogs).
They have also fostered for Sussex Pet Rescue for around 8 years and 2 of their current dogs were originally foster dogs for S.P.R. Boo – 8 1/2 year Staffie cross; Tyler – 8 year German Shepherd/Greyhound cross. Last year, after much persuation from Gail, Roger agreed to a new puppy. After a long wait and scouring the internet Gail found an 8 week old German Shepherd that needed a new home. Her name is Munchkin and she is 17 months old.
Dogs On Holiday has many regular clients. Some dogs come whilst their owners are out for few hours. Others stay for up to 3 weeks whilst their owners are on holiday.
